Getting Rebates - For Homeowners

Homeowner incentives are available for high enough rated EnerGuide homes, and for homes with R-2000 and/or Built Green certification.

Whether you want to get your recently built new home certified, or you are in the planning stages, we are here to help.

The earlier you talk to us the better, as once a home is built there is little if anything that can be done to improve it's EnerGuide rating.

What is an EnerGuide Rating?

Any new home can be EnerGuide labelled, which consts of a rating from 1 to 100 based on a software "energy model" of a home and a physical check for air tightness (a blower door test). Only homes receiving a high enough EnerGuide rating are eligable for rebates.

R-2000 and Built Green homes must be EnerGuide rated, plus they must meet additional checklist requirements for qualitative features such as water systems, building practices, and waste diversion.
